Mirielle graduated from Gordon College in 2017 and studied Chemistry, Biology, and Spanish. She joined the UIC Pharmacognosy program in Aug 2017 and joined Dr. Johnson's lab in Jan 2018. She is studying the role of xanthones from the mangosteen fruit in androgen receptor degradation in prostate cancer.
